We were by ourselves the entire day for this 9-mile, out-and-back moderate hike. Lobo Canyon, in Channel Islands National Park, feels like an undiscovered treasure. Few people travel to Santa Rosa Island due to the water crossing and boat schedule. If you make it out there, do not pass up Lobo Canyon. This sand and wind-swept canyon will leave you breathless.
